King Abdulaziz International Airport – South Terminal
Foundation condition assessment, sensing-based testing, structural analysis, and rehabilitation design for one of Saudi Arabia's busiest airport terminals.

About This Project
SRT was appointed to assess the structural condition of the existing South Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport following the opening of the new airport. The project focused on evaluating the long-term condition of the existing foundations without excavation using advanced sensing-based technology.
A comprehensive structural assessment was performed to identify potential deterioration, evaluate foundation performance, and develop practical strengthening solutions while minimizing disruption to airport operations.
